The Polaris Online and on the Firing Line
By Heather Stark | June 11, 2007
It took all year; it took a lot of energy; it took a lot of research just to find passwords and host sites, but The Polaris went online with our last issue. And readers went to see what we were about on the Web.
Kiki Park’s story about the blow up of student government elicited the most comments. Joe gave props for a great article giving “real information about student government.” J. Fordham called it “intense,” while S. Wilson posted, “That took a lot of courage to speak out against the administration and expose one of its shortcomings.”
Michael Hanscom responded to “Bras, Panties and Boxers” with kudos after seeing the play “What the Butler Saw.” We even got a comment posted about a letter to the editor regarding guns on campus.
So we got online, we got some comments and now we want more. The current issue is up at www.thepolaris.org and you have a chance to let us know what you think of this one. We welcome your comments and your feedback. Have a good summer. We at The Polaris sincerely hope to see you in the fall.
